
Fire advances to  thermal power plant in Milas

	MUĞLA- &nbsp;While the fire progresses rapidly in Milas, the area was urgently evacuated after the flames reached near the thermal power plant.

	&nbsp;

	In the Milas district of Muğla, forest fires that have not been extinguished for days continue to spread. After warnings that the flames would reach the thermal power plants if air support was provided and control could not be achieved, the part up to the thermal power plant in the region started to be evacuated urgently by the gendarmerie.

	TOKAT: THIS IS A VERY SERIUOS SITUATION

	&nbsp;

	Milas Mayor Muhammet Tokat shared a video showing that the flames came very close to Kemerköy Thermal Power Plant in the ongoing fire in the district.

	&nbsp;

	Tokat shared the following from his social media account, “The situation is very serious. The flames came to the bottom of the thermal power plant. If possible, the plane or helicopter with night vision should be sent to the area immediately.”

	&nbsp;

	Tokat reported that 1,670 households and over 4 thousand citizens were evacuated in Milas.&nbsp;
