Journalists and observers not allowed in court room in Kobané Case 2021-09-20 11:51:38   ANKARA - While there is police activity at the enterance of the Sincan Prison Campus right before the Kobané Case will be heard, journalists and observers were not allowed in the court room.   The 4th hearing of the Kobanê Case, where 108 people, 20 of whom are currently behind bars, including the executives of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), will be held at the Sincan Prison Campus today.   JOURNALISTS WERE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CAMPUS   The road to Sincan Prison were barricaded by the police right before the hearing. The relatives of the imprisoned politicians, the observers and journalists were not allowed in the campus by the police who said the court board had decided to have a closed hearing. Only the attorneys, MPs and the defendants were allowed in the court room.   It was revealed that the court board did not decide to have a closed hearing when the attorneys spoke to the judge.    The police who wanted to see the state-issued press cards, told that they didn't care what the court board decided and that they were there on the orders of the Governorate.
