
Turkish police detain 200 in raids against paper collectors in Istanbul

	İSTANBUL - Turkish police carried out raids targeting paper collectors in Ataşehir, Istanbul, and around 200 people were detained.

	&nbsp;

	Police teams raided at least 49 addresses in Ataşehir, Istanbul in an operation targeting paper collectors.

	&nbsp;

	Following the raids, in which nearly 200 paper collectors were detained, the materials in the paper collection warehouses were confiscated.

	&nbsp;

	It is reported that the detainees were taken to the Istanbul Provincial Immigration Administration Removal Center in Tuzla, where they would be deported from.
