Şenyaşar: People will stage sit-in protests in front of all courthouses in Turkey 2022-01-18 16:24:13   URFA- Continuing the sit-in for justice despite cold weather, Ferit Şenyaşar drew attention to the other sit-in protests that started in several different cities and said: "People will stage sit-in protests in front of all courthouses in Turkey."   Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, is on its 316th day. Coming from their house which is 42 kilometers away from the courthouse, mother and son started the sit in for the day under snow.   'WE ARE HERE DESPITE THE COLD'   Staging the sit-in despite the cold weather and snow with his mother, Ferit Şenyaşar told that they have been continuing the Justice Watch for almost a year now. Şenyaşar said: "It is snowing and cold. But we will not go back home before we get justice."   Stating that hundreds of people come to the courthouse during the day, Şenyaşar said everyone who sees his mother sitting and crying here call down the authorities. Şenyaşar said: "There are sit-in protests like ours all over Turkey. If this persecution with the hand of the judiciary continues, there will be sit-in protests in front of all courthouses in Turkey.
