Turkish 'Counterterrorism' operation continues in Mount Cudi

	SIRNAK - Operations launched in the region after the conflict on 30 April on Mount Cudi continue with air mobility.

	 

	The military operation, which started in the region after the clash that broke out on April 30 on Mount Cudi in Şırnak, in which 8 soldiers lost their lives, continues. As part of the military operation, air mobility in the region continues with herons and drones in Geniya Mêwik, Deriyê Çirçiro, Dugiheka and Çala Goza.

	 

	Soldiers opened fire on Mount Cudi in the region where there is intense helicopter mobility. According to the information received from local sources, soldiers opened fire from the Hisar (Hebler) Battalion in Cizre to the Tûşimga, Girê Hermo and Avçinara regions on Mount Cudi.

	 

	The entrance and exit of the Avgamasiya, Serêdehlê and Şilerît villages of Şırnak, located at the foot of Mount Cudi, are prohibited for the last 11 days.
