Balaç on death fast sent back to prison

	ANKARA – Sibel Balaç on death fast was released from the hospital and sent to Bakırköy Closed Prison.

	 

	People's Law Office stated that Sibel Balaç, who started a death fast on December 29, 2021 and was transferred to Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Hospital on September 9, with demands for a fair trial, release of ill prisoners and an end to the violations of rights in prisons, was sent back to Bakırköy Closed Prison.

	 

	'TURKISH STATE SHOULD RELEASE OUR CLIENT IMMEDIATELY'

	 

	Providing information about Balaç on Twitter, whose information on which ward she was held in has not yet been reached, the People's Law Office said: "If you are holding our client alone, who has a "she cannot be held alone" report, you are committing a crime. The Turkish state should release our client immediately.”
