Kurdistan Region Human Rights Commission: We do not know about the chemical weapons! 2022-11-10 13:59:51   NEWS CENTER - Claiming that they were not aware of the use of chemical weapons, the Kurdistan Region Human Rights Commission Spokesperson avoided talking about the released video.   Rojnews contacted the Kurdistan Region Human Rights Commission's office in the Suleymaniye region regarding the use of chemical weapons in Turkey's Federated Kurdistan Region Zap, Avaşîn and Metina regions. Responding to Rojnews, Sabir Abdullah Kerim shared that only their headquarters can talk about the use of chemical weapons and they were informed with a written instruction that they should not talk about these issues.   SABIR ABDULLAH KERIM WAS INSTRUCTED NOT TO TALK   Sabir Abdullah Kerim said: “As the Süleymaniye office, we cannot talk about this issue because we were told that we should consult the (chemical weapons) commission chairperson on these issues. We were informed by the Presidency of the Human Rights Commission that we were not allowed to talk about the use of chemical weapons in an official letter.”   Süleyman Muhsin, Spokesperson of the Kurdistan Region Human Rights Commission, gave a similar answer. Claiming that they were not aware of the use of chemical weapons, Muhsin asked that there be any document regarding the use of chemical weapons. Muhsin refrained from speaking after the video of HPG people affected by the chemical were shared with him in the Fırat News Agency (ANF).
