Release decision for documentary director Tekin

	Documentary director and academician Sibel Tekin, who was arrested on charges of "being a member in a terrorist organization", was released.

	The court decided to release Tekin after evaluating the objections against the detention of Documentary director Academician Sibel Tekin, who was arrested on December 17 on the grounds of documentary footage for the permanent daylight saving time.

	Tekin is expected to be released from Sincan Women's Closed Prison this evening. Tekin will appear in court on February 23, 2023, as part of the lawsuit filed against her.
