The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced that the number of people who lost their lives in the 7.7 magnitude earthquake centered in Maraş Pazarcık increased to 1014. AFAD President, Yunus Sezer, said: "There have been 105 aftershocks so far. 2824 destroyed buildings have been reported. There are shipments to the earthquake zone both by air and by land. The number of citizens who lost their lives is 1014." The balance sheet announced by AFAD is as follows: 191 in Maraş, 200 in Gaziantep, 27 in Urfa, 41 in Diyarbakır, 43 in Adana, 20 in Adıyaman, 131 in Osmaniye, 250 in Hatay, Kilis A total of 1014 people lost their lives, 13 in Istanbul and 98 in Malatya. A total of 7003 people were injured in 10 provinces.
