	Firebrands and candles were lit in the grave of Jîna Eminî, who was murdered in Iran, in the city of Saqiz, on the occasion of Newroz. In the cemetery, where Emin's family and hundreds of people gathered on March 21, resistance songs were sung massively by lighting firebrands at the grave of Emini.

	 

	Kurdish woman from Rojhilat, Jîna Eminî, was tortured to death by the "Moral Police" in Tehran, the capital of Iran, on September 13. Emînî, who was being treated in a hospital in Tehran, died on September 16. Since the day Emini was laid to rest in Saqiz, protests have been held in the streets under the leadership of women with the slogans "Jin jiyan azadi".
