	ISTANBUL - Gerçek Gündem editor Furkan Karabay was detained.

	 

	Furkan Karabay, the editor of Gerçek Gündem, was detained in the morning to be questioned. The testimony of Karabay, who was taken to the Istanbul Courthouse, continues.

	Regarding the issue, DİSK/Basın-İş said from its social media account: "The editor of Gerçek Gündem, Furkan Karabay, who wrote important news on important issues such as allegations of bribery and corruption in the judiciary and the murder of Necip Hablemitoğlu, was taken into custody during the operations carried out on his house this morning. Journalism is not a crime, Karabay should be released immediately!”
