Trustee protest in Xelfetî on second day

	RIHA - The resistance against the appointment of a trustee in Xelfetî continues on its second day. 

	 

	The resistance against the appointment of a trustee to the municipality in Xelfetî (Halfeti) district of Riha (Urfa) continues on its second day. In the early hours of the morning, citizens started to gather in front of the blockaded municipality building. Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) MPs Ömer Öcalan, Zülküf Uçar, Ayten Kordu, Ferit Şenyaşar, Mithat Sancar and Dilan Kunt Ayan and Xelfetî Co-Mayors Saniye Bayram and Mehmet Karayılan also came to the municipality building. The crowd frequently chanted slogans such as “We will win if we resist” and “Bijî berxwedana Xelfetî (Long live resistance of Xelfetî)”. 

	 

	The crowd continues to wait in front of the blockaded municipality building.
