Restriction on detained journalists' files 2025-01-17 12:49:28 ISTANBUL - The files of the journalists detained in the morning hours have been restricted and banned from seeing their lawyers for 24 hours.   Journalists Reyhan Hacıoğlu, Necla Demir, Rahime Karvar and Ahmet Güneş were detained in house raids in Wan and Istanbul as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Journalist Welat Ekin also detained in Istanbul on the grounds that his statement would be taken.    RAIDS ON PRODUCTIONS   At the same time as the house raids, Martı and Güncel Productions in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul were also raided. In the raid, which was carried out without informing anyone, the police opened the doors with a locksmith and confiscated all computers and hard discs in the productions. No information was given about the reason for the raid.    RESTRICTION ORDER   Reyhan Hacıoğlu was detained in Wan and taken to the Provincial Security Directorate. The lawyer who wanted to meet Reyhan Hacıoğlu was told that there was a confidentiality order on the file and a 24-hour ban on meeting with her lawyer.   It is learned that Reyhan Hacıoğlu will be taken to Istanbul in the following hours.
