Artists call for 'we want peace' 2025-10-08 16:05:25 ANTALYA - Poets, writers and artists who came together to demand peace said, "The world rises on four golden pillars: Labour, justice, freedom, peace. If one of these is absent, the other three are also absent. For this we say peace."    Poets, writers and artists who came together in Antalya organised a press conference demanding "peace" for the peaceful solution of the Kurdish issue. Şükrü Erbaş made a joint statement prepared with the title "Our Call to the Public" at the press conference held in a hotel. He stated that the greatest life knowledge that humanity has learnt through thousands of years of suffering is peace: "We want to multiply not by dying but by living. We no longer want to look at the world through the unlit eyes of our dead, but through sunny windows."    Emphasising that the conflict process should end and all segments of society should live together on the basis of equality, justice, freedom and peace, Erbaş said: "The world rises on four golden pillars: Labour, justice, freedom and peace. If one of these is absent, the other three are also absent.
