ANKARA - Explaining that he was put under pressure for his son who was murdered by the Iranian regime, Kemal Lofti said: "My son was martyred on the way to freedom."

The protest actions that started after the murder of Jîna Mahsa Amini in Iran continue. Regime forces are responding to the people's demands for freedom with repression, arrests and attacks. Reza Lotfi was murdered by the regime forces during the protests in Dehgolan city of Rojhilat. Iranian regime forces visited Lofti's condolences on September 24 and forced father Kemal Lofti to make a statement that his son had been killed by Kurdish forces.

Lofti announced the threat on Twitter accounts and Youtube: “The Islamic Republic is doing its best to distort the facts, going to the homes of the young people it killed and putting pressure on them to hold others accountable for their crimes.”

'MY SON WAS MARTYR ON THE WAY TO FREEDOM'

Lofti shared the following statements: “In the name of the merciful and just God... I am Kemal Lotfi, the father of the martyr Rıza Lotfi. Dehgolan is a proud city and a source of freedom. As the father of Martyr Rıza, I convey my greetings and thanks to everyone who attended the funeral of my son, who was martyred on the path of freedom. Martyr Rıza's name was added in honor of Kurdistan and Dehgolan. Thank you to everyone who supported us and did not leave us alone. My brothers and my son Martyr Rıza were martyred in Dehgolan by the murderers and oppressors of the Islamic Republic.

A delegation of 15 traitors came to the house of condolence, without informing their arrival beforehand. Morteza Yousefi, the cameraman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Television, accompanied them and recorded the whole event. Dehgolan Army Commander Sadik Jamali said that Reza was killed by Kurdistan groups and parties. I declare that I do not accept such a claim. I asked him to tell me who the murderer of my son was and which sniper he was shot by. I asked who killed my son. He told me that my son was killed by Kurdistan parties. I told him that the government media had televised me saying this and that it was a lie.

'RIZA IS OUR PRIDE'

I swear to Martyr Rıza that I will never accept such a claim.  Kurdistan parties do not commit such crimes. Kurdistan parties and groups live in the mountains for us oppressed peoples. It resists cold, heat and all kinds of difficulties. With such baseless claims, no one can question the honor and dignity of the people of Kurdistan and Dehgolan. Riza is our pride and cannot be traded for anything.

I declare that the radio and television of the Islamic Republic of Iran took and broadcast the images in my house without my permission. I condemn the media of the Islamic Republic of Iran for distorting my words and spreading such an outrageous lie. On the other hand, the clean body of the martyr Rıza was not respected, and his painful mother was disrespected. The pain of this will never heal. Our martyr was taken to autopsy without permission from his family and his funeral was prevented. We were not allowed to lay rest our body during the day. We laid to rest our son in the middle of the night without anyone with the slogans of Jin, jiyan, azadi(women, life, freedom) and martyrs can not die."
