NEWS CENTER – Following a partial ceasefire reached in Aleppo, a convoy transporting the bodies of those killed and the wounded reached the areas of the Autonomous Administration, where the injured were transferred to hospitals.

After attacks targeting the predominantly Kurdish neighborhoods of Şêxmeqsûd (Sheikh Maqsoud) and Eşrefiyê (Ashrafieh) in Syria’s city of Aleppo, a partial ceasefire enabled the evacuation of the bodies of those who lost their lives and civilians who were injured. The convoy transporting the dead and wounded reached the regions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES), where the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Hundreds of people who had set out from various cities in North and East Syria to support Aleppo welcomed the convoy at the entrance of Deir Hafir, affiliated with Tabqa. Teams from the Kurdish Red Crescent (Heyva Sor a Kurd), which operates in the Autonomous Administration regions, transferred the wounded to hospitals and placed them under medical care.
