Peace Mothers to travel to Ankara over Aleppo attacks

NEWS CENTER – Reacting to the attacks targeting Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo, the Peace Mothers announced that they will travel to Ankara, capital of Turkey tomorrow to protest the assaults.

 
The Peace Mothers Assembly issued statements in several cities condemning the attacks targeting the Kurdish neighborhoods of Aleppo, Syria.
In the statements in Amed (Diyarbakır), Êlih (Batman), Mêrdîn (Mardin), Şirnex (Şırnak), Adana and Mersin Peace Mothers Assemblies mothers said they would sett off for Ankara tomorrow to demand an end to the war and the establishment of peace as soon as possible. 
 
 
Mothers recalled that many people have been killed and injurid during the ongoing attacks and they stand with the resistance in Aleppo. Mothers addressed the Mİnister of Justice and the Minister of Interior in Turkey and said, “Why are you supporting them? Abondon your support for DAESH.”
 
 
Saying that “peace is in Ankara, and war is in Ankara,” mothers emphasized that Kurdish mothers continue to demand peace despite losing their children during periods of conflict and called on poliçe and soldier mothers to walk with them for peace. 
 
The statements ended with the slogans “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî (Woman, life, freedom)” and “Murderer DAESH, collaborator AKP,” and applauses in the cities
