SDF fighters who had resisted attacks for days at al-Aqtan Prison in Raqqa—where thousands of ISIS detainees are held—left the facility in the early hours of the morning. The fighters subsequently reached Kobanê.

 

Upon their arrival, the SDF fighters were greeted with a warm and enthusiastic by local residents.
