Aid distributed to displaced people in Qamishlo

NEWS CENTER - Aid collected in the Federal Kurdistan Region has been distributed to displaced citizens in Afrin and Shehba residing in the city of Qamishlo.
 
According to Hawar News Agency (ANHA) the Kurdish Red Crescent (Heyva Sor a Kurd) distributed 350 food baskets today to displaced people from Afrin and Shahba residing in the residential neighborhoods of Qamishlo (Antariya and Judi), in coordination with the neighborhood councils and communes.
 
The food baskets, distributed through the Kurdish Red Crescent, were donated by residents of Sinka Center, Haji Awa, and Penjwen in Federal Kurdistan.
 
This initiative is part of an ongoing campaign to distribute humanitarian aid to displaced people in the Jazeera region. This aid is provided by numerous humanitarian organizations and institutions in Europe and Southern  and Northern Kurdistan to support displaced families and alleviate their hardship.
 
In the same vein, the Kurdish Red Crescent's medical teams continue to provide essential health and medical services to displaced people, both in shelters and within residential neighborhoods, to meet their basic needs under these difficult circumstances.
