Ill prisoner Mehmet Edip Taşar lost his life

ISTANBUL – Seriously ill prisoner Mehmet Edip Taşar, who had not been released, has lost his life. 

Mehmet Edip Taşar, who had been held at Marmara No. 5 L-Type Closed Prison since 27 December 2022, died at the hospital where he was receiving treatment. 
 
Taşar had been receiving treatment at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital for some time due to his illness. It has been reported that his body will be taken to his hometown of Êlih (Batman).
