NEWS CENTER – Federal Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani met with Syrian Transitional Government President Ahmed al-Sharaa in Antalya. 
 
The presidents met within the scope of the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum to discuss the situation in the region. 
 
On his virtual media account Barzani said: “I was pleased to meet President Ahmed Al-Sharaa today in Antalya. I commended President Sharaa for his continued efforts to stabilize Syria and for the progress made in implementing the agreement with the SDF. We also discussed strengthening ties between Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and Syria to advance shared security and economic objectives.”
