Parliamentary immunity of 4 MPs filed to be removed in Turkish parliament

ANKARA – A motion has been sent to the Parliament for the lifting of immunity for 2 HDP MPs, 1 TİP MP and one CHP MP.

4 reports were sent to the Presidency of the Parliament to remove the immunity of 4 deputies. Reports against Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Deputy Garo Paylan and Şırnak Deputy Hüseyin Kaçmaz, Workers' Party of Turkey (TIP) Istanbul Deputy Ahmet Şık and CHP Mersin Deputy Ali Mahir Basarir were sent to the Constitution-Justice Joint Commission.
