Ill prisoner has not seen his son for 5 years

SIRNAK - Not being able to see her son, Rıdvan Yusufoğlu, an ill prisoner who is getting worse day by day, Hatice Yusufoğlu, said, "I want my son to be released as soon as possible." 

 
Ill prisoner Rıdvan Yusufoğlu, held in Ağrı Patnos Type L Closed Prison, is getting worse day by day due to prison conditions. Yusufoğlu, who grew up in Silopi district of Şırnak, was introduced to the injustice of the judiciary at an early age. Yusufoğlu, who was detained for the first time in April 1992 when he was only 16 years old, was detained again two years later (1994). Yusufoğlu, who has been held in prisons in Şırnak, Tokat, Adana, Mardin and Diyarbakır after his arrest, is now being held in Patnos L Type Closed Prison.
 
PRISON CONDITIONS MADE HIM SICK
 
Yusufoğlu, who was arrested at the age of 18 and has been in many prisons in Turkey and Kurdistan for 28 years, is now 46 years old. Yusufoğlu, who was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis 17 years ago. Yusufoğlu also has diseases such as varix, herniated disc, stomach disease and sleep apnea. The medicine Yusufoğlu needs for the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis, is not given. Since there is no Gastroenterology department in Ağrı so he can not be treated, and his applications to be transferred to Diyarbakır or Van is not replied.
 
MOTHER HASN'T SEEN HER SON FOR 5 YEARS
 
Mother Hatice Yusufoğlu said that her son, whose health conditionis getting worse day by day, got worse after he caught the coronavirus (Kovid-19) on November 16, 2021. Expressing that she has not seen her son for 5 years due to both her illness and economic difficulties, mother Yusufoğlu said, "If he was in a nearby prison, I could visit him often. My son is sick and a person who is sick needs his family. He contracted the virus in November of last year, but I didn't even know about it. He survived after a 20-day quarantine period. Mothers must be reunited with their children now. People of all religions, races and languages ​​have the right to live in this world. Every person should live with their own identity and language. We want rights, law and justice." Reminding that her son was arrested when he was a child, mother Yusufoğlu continued: "Rıdvan got sick after he was imprisoned. I want my son to be released as soon as possible. We want him to be referred to a place where he can be treated. If I had seen my son, even for 5 minutes, I would have been relieved."
