First examination of the law suit to ban HDP to be held on March 31

	ANKARA - AYM will examine the law suit to ban HDP for the first time on March 31.

	The Constitutional Court (AYM) will examine the case for the closure of the People's Democratic Party (HDP) on March 31st. AYM will evaluate the demands about completely banning HDP, political ban requests against some 600 names for 5 years, deprivation of Treasury aid, and the cessation of membership registration to the party, which are included in the indictment prepared by the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeals.

	GERGERLİOĞLU APPLICATION

	AYM will also examine the application made by the HDP's Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu, who was dismissed as a deputy, demanding the "cancellation of the decision to strip Gergerlioğlu of his status as MP".
