
Visit from the International Delegation Against Isolation to TTB and HRFT

	ANKARA - The International Delegation Against Isolation held a meeting with the TTB and TİHV regarding the isolation against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

	&nbsp;

	A delegation of 36 people from 7 different countries, consisting of lawyers, journalists and academics, came together in Ankara to oppose the isolation imposed on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The International Delegation Against Isolation first attended the meeting held at the Turkish Medical Association (TTB). TTB Secretary General Vedat Bulut, lawyers from the Lawyers Association for Freedom (ÖHD) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Law and Human Rights Commission Co-Spokesperson Serhat Eren attended the meeting. TTB Central Council President Şebnem Korur Fincancı attended the meeting online.

	At the meeting held at TTB, the aggravated isolation in Imrali Type F High Security Prison, as well as its reflections on Turkish prisons, were discussed. TTB expressed its opinion on the practices regarding ill prisoners in prisons. After the meeting, the delegation came together at the TİHV Headquarters. The meeting, which was attended by TİHV President Metin Bakkalcı, was held closed to the press.
