
Hope Walkers visit the cemetery: We are grateful

	RIHA - On the second day of the march "We Walk to Freedom with Hope", women visited the graves of those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom and gave the message "We are grateful to those who paid a heavy price for freedom".&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The march organised by Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad -TJA) with the slogan "We are walking to freedom with hope" from Amed (Diyarbakır) to Ankara with the demand for the physical freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues in Curne Reş (Hilvan) on the 2nd day.&nbsp;

	On the 2nd day of the march, the graves of those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom were visited in the Old Hilvan cemetery. The commemoration started with a moment of silence and the slogan "Şehîd namirin (Martyrs won’t die)" was chanted.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Afterwards, TJA activist Fatma Ablay stated that they commemorate those who lost their lives in the freedom struggle with respect and said: "Heavy prices were paid in Kurdistan, we are grateful to those who paid that price. We will continue to struggle as Kurdish women and Kurdish young women."

	As the statement ended with slogans, the Hope Walkers set off towards Xelfetî (Halfeti).&nbsp;
