NEWS CENTER – Due to increasing threats and the failure of the international coalition to fulfil its responsibilities, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced their withdrawal from al-Hol Camp.

Attacks by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Turkish-backed paramilitary forces on North and East Syria continue. The SDF Press Centre issued a written statement regarding the attacks in Raqqa. The SDF announced that it had withdrawn from al-Hol Camp, where thousands of ISIS members and their families are being held.

The statement reads: “Due to the international community’s indifference towards the ISIS issue and its failure to assume its responsibilities in addressing this serious matter, our forces were compelled to withdraw from al-Hol camp and redeploy to areas surrounding cities in northern Syria that are facing increasing dangers and threats.”
