NEWS CENTER – SDF affirmed their readiness to move forward with the implementation of the January 18 agreement in the interests of calm and stability.

 

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement reporting that a ceasefire has been reached with the transitional government of Syria.

 

The SDF declared their forces' full commitment to the ceasefire agreed upon with the government in Damascus, and affirmed that they will not initiate any military action unless their forces are attacked in the future.

 

SDF said: “We also affirm our openness to political processes, negotiated solutions, and dialogue, and our readiness to move forward with the implementation of the January 18 agreement in the interests of calm and stability.”
