Mass marches in three cities of Rojava for constitutional guarantees

NEWS CENTER – Mass marches were held in the cities of Girkê Legê, Dêrik and Amûde in Rojava to demand constitutional guarantees for the rights of Kurds. 

Mass marches were held in the cities of Girkê Legê, Dêrik and Amûdê, which are part of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, to ensure that the rights of Kurds are guaranteed in the Syrian Constitution and to support the defence forces.
 
During the protests, YPG and YPJ flags were carried and slogans such as “Long live the Rojava resistance” were chanted. Protesters carried banners reading “Our rights must be constitutionally guaranteed”. 
 
 
It was emphasised that the aim of the protests was to send a message to the world that women are at the forefront of the resistance and that the will of the people cannot be suppressed.
