HTS looted 74 villages in Kobani after withdrawing

NEWS CENTER – Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) groups looted and stole from 74 villages in Kobani (Kobanê) after withdrawing.

Under the agreement signed on 29 January between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and Damascus, the Syrian Transitional Government failed to implement many of the provisions for which it was responsible.

Despite the passage of a month and a half since the agreement, HTS groups still maintain their presence around Kobani.

It has emerged that HTS, which is said to have withdrawn from 74 villages in Kobani, looted homes. The fact that HTŞ still maintains its presence in 10 more villages in Kobani not only prevents the return of the population but also delays the full implementation of the 29 January agreement.
