DÊRSIM — The detention period of former Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, who was taken into custody as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Gülistan Doku, has been extended.

 

The investigation into the case of Gülistan Doku, a second-year Child Development student at Munzur University who has been missing since 5 January 2020 in Dêrsim (Tunceli), is ongoing. Sonel was detained on 17 April as part of the investigation.

 

Sonel, who is being held at the Erzîrom (Erzurum) Police Department, has had his detention period extended by one day.
