DEM Party Central Executive Board convenes to evaluate process

ANKARA – The Central Executive Board of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party convened to discuss the Peace and Democratic Society Process and current developments.
 
The Central Executive Board (MYK) of the DEM Party met at the party’s headquarters under the chairship of co-chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan. The main item on the agenda is expected to be the Peace and Democratic Society Process.
 
At the same time, marches held in many cities across Kurdistan and Turkey under the slogan “Take a Step for Peace,” calling for concrete steps within the framework of the process, as well as current political, social and economic developments in Turkey, the Middle East and the wider world, are among the other key issues being discussed.
 
DEM Party spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan is expected to hold a press conference during the meeting.
