AMED - For young people detained in Sûr last night were reportedly beaten while being taken to hospital for medical examinations. 

 

Four young people, Y.E., Z.O., B.Ç. and Y.E., were detained near the Hazreti Süleyman Mosque in Amed’s Sûr district yesterday evening. The reason for their detention remains unknown. It was learned that a confidentiality order has been imposed on the case and that restrictions have been placed on their access to lawyers.

 

The four young people, who remain in detention, were reportedly beaten by police while being taken to hospital for medical examinations this morning.
