ANKARA - The ‘framework law’ bill, expected to be introduced as part of the Peace and Democratic Society Process, will be submitted to Parliament at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow.

 

The bill titled “Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration,” known as the framework law, will be submitted to Parliament at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow as part of the Peace and Democratic Society Process.

 

Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş has signed the bill earlier today.

 

Following the submission of the bill to Parliament, AKP and MHP officials will hold a joint press conference at 11.00 a.m. The press conference will be attended by AKP Parliamentary Group Chair Abdullah Güler, AKP Deputy Chair Efkan Ala, MHP Deputy Group Chairs Erkan Akçay, Filiz Kılıç and Feti Yıldız. 

 

The framework law is also expected to be taken up by Parliament’s Justice Committee on Friday and then passed by the General Assembly before the end of the weekend.
