ANKARA - Mehmet Laçin who kept watch while Deniz Poyraz was killed in İzmir HDP building was brought to Ankara to set a tent in front of HDP HQ. HDP MPs protested the situation and said: "You can not bring the killer of Deniz Poyraz here."

The street where the HDP Head Quarters is located was blockaded by the police early in the morning. Due to the meeting to be held before HDP's declaration to be announced on September 27, the HDP MPs also gathered at the party headquarters.

The police demanded the removal of the vehicles on the street for Laçin as well as insisting that the HDP MPs to go inside. Protesting the situation, HDP MPs said: "You can not bring the killer of Deniz Poyraz here. He kept watch outside of the building while Poyraz was being murdered inside, by his friend. Police protected him then, and protecting him now."

BANNER OF DENİZ POYRAZ HUNG ON THE BUILDING

As the tension increased, a banner of Deniz Poyraz was hung on the building. Police attacked the members of the parliament after the banner was hung.

PRO-GOVERNMENT MEDIA IN PROVOCATION

Laçin tried to make a statement in front of the building while the police protected him. The HDP MPs not allowing Laçin to make a statement, had a scuffle with the police. The pro-government media shutting off their cameras while the police attack the HDP MPs, tried to take photographs of the police removing Laçin from the area. Laçin, who was removed from the area by the police, is kept at the entrance to the upper side of the street where the party building is located while HDP MPs chanted slogans, saying 'Deniz Poyraz is immortal'.

HDP deputies continue to wait in front of the party. Meanwhile, HDP Deputy Co-Chair Tayip Temel said to the police, who asked HDP deputies to open the road to traffic, “The Ankara Police Department was mobilized to protect the murderer. We are exercising our democratic right. What you are abetting is unlawful, the person you are trying to protect is committed a crime.”

The wait in front of the HDP HQ continues.
