URFA- Continuing the Justice Watch, Şenyaşar family  said, "We do not want mercy from the authorities, but we want the rule of law to do what is necessary."

 

Emine Şenyaşar had lost her husband and two sons as the result of the attack carried out by AKP MP Halil İbrahim Yıldız, his guards, and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa.  She and her son who survived the attack injured had started a sit-in on 9 March. The sit-in is on its 213th day today. The mother and son, who came to the area called "Şenyaşar Family Justice Corner", started the sit in without a banner, since their banners were seized by the police on the 200th day of the sit in.

 

The family shared the following from their Twitter account, "Our justice watch in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse continues on its 213th day. We do not expect mercy from the authorities. We just want the rule of law to do what is necessary.”
