In Konya Ereğli High Security Prison, the indefinite rotating hunger strike started by political prisoners on October 4 for 10 days against rights violations and isolation conditions continues. One of the prisoners, Yakup Brukan from Rojhilat, set his body on fire on October 28 against the severe isolation conditions. It was learned that the prisoners Faik Budak, Fatih Baran and Remzi Akyürek continued an indefinite and non-rotating hunger strike on November 16th.
 
Lawyers from the Association for Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD), Human Rights Association (İHD) and Çukurova Association for Assistance with the Families of Detainees and Convicts (Çukurova TUAY-DER) visited the prison administration and prisoners on November 11 and prepared a report.

Political prisoners, who are ill, elderly or in a risk group, requested to be evaluated immediately by the committee meeting with the prison administration.
