NEWS CENTER - Voting for the Presidential second round of elections started at 08:00. Vote counting will begin at the ballot boxes that will close at 17:00.

  

Voting for the presidential runoff started at 08:00. While more than 191 thousand ballot boxes were set up in 973 districts and 1094 district election boards across the country, more than 60 million voters are expected to go to the polls in the country. Voting will end at 17:00 across Türkiye.

 

Voters will be able to vote with one of the official documents with an ID number on it.

 

VOTES OF ABROAD

 

Voting in 151 representative offices in 73 countries ended on May 24 for approximately 3.5 million voters registered in the overseas electoral register. Voting procedures at customs gates will continue until 17.00 today.

 

The votes brought to Turkey from abroad and kept in the Overseas District Election Board in Ankara ATO Congresium will be counted simultaneously with the other votes as of 17.00.

 

CANDIDATES

 

The presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, and the Presidential candidate of the People's Alliance, Tayyip Erdoğan, are competing in the election.
