According to the decision of the Supreme Election Board (YSK) published in the Official Gazette; The election calendar start date for the Local Government General Elections, which will be held on March 31, 2024, has been determined as January 1, 2024.

 

According to the calendar; The political parties participating in the election will be announced by the YSK on January 2, and their places on the ballot will be determined by a draw to be held by the YSK on January 27.

 

Political parties must submit their lists and applications for provincial and district municipalities mayoral candidates, municipal council memberships and provincial general council memberships by February 20, 17.00.

 

Election propaganda and bans will begin on March 21. It will end on March 30 at 18.00.

 

The end of the election ban was determined as March 31 at 23.59.
