RIHA – DEM Party outdid in Amara District, where PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan was born.

 

Voting has been completed in the elections in which 61 million 441 thousand people voted in Kurdistan and Turkey. While the vote counting process started in the closed ballot boxes, the results of the completed ballot boxes were announced.

 

One of the addresses where the vote counting process has been completed is the rural Amara District of Riha's Xelfetî district, where PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan was born.

 

244 of the 398 voters registered in ballot boxes numbered 1076 and 1077 in Amara cast their votes. Of the votes cast, the district municipality DEM Party received 179 votes, AKP 26, YRP 20, CHP 1, other parties received 3 votes, while 12 votes were deemed invalid.

While DEM Party received 173 of the 398 votes cast for the Metropolitan Municipality, AKP received 28 votes, YRP received 23 votes and other candidates received 10 votes. 10 votes cast were deemed invalid.
