NEWS CENTER - In the meeting held 43 months later, “If conditions are created, I have the theoretical and practical power to move this process from the grounds of conflict and violence to the legal and political grounds” PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan said. 

 

Abdullah Öcalan, who is being held in isolation in İmralı Type F High Security Closed Prison, met with Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Riha (Urfa) MP Ömer Öcalan after 43 months. Ömer Öcalan announced the meeting on his virtual media account. 

 

Ömer Öcalan also shared Abdullah Öcalan's message. Ömer Öcalan stated the following: “On October 23rd, I had a meeting with Mr. Öcalan in İmralı Island Prison. This visit took place as part of a family meeting. During the meeting, Mr. Öcalan made evaluations on general political developments and Said the following message to be conveyed to the public; 'Isolation continues. If the conditions are created, I have the theoretical and practical power to move this process from the grounds of conflict and violence to the legal and political grounds.' He was in good health and greeted everyone.”
