ANKARA - At the commemoration held in Ankara on the 11th month of the 10 October Train Station Massacre, it was emphasized that the struggle for justice will continue.
The 104 people who lost their lives in the ISIS attack against the Labour, Peace and Democracy Rally in Ankara on 10 October 2015 were commemorated in front of Ankara Train Station on the 111th month of the massacre. Led by 10 October Peace Association, the commemoration was attended by many people. The participants of the commemoration chanted "Don't forget 10 October" and "No to war, peace now".
'THIS STRUGGLE WILL NEVER END'
Speaking at the commemoration, Mehtap Sakinci, co-chair of the 10 October Peace Association, said: "Yes, 111 months have passed since the massacre, and in the trials held during this period, as the survivors of the 10 October Massacre, we have not encountered any sense of justice. As those left behind, we will continue to struggle for justice against the 10 October Massacre. As the families and those who feel the responsibility of those left behind in their hearts, we will continue to be the defenders of this struggle and be the soldiers of these trials. We will endeavour to achieve greater gains in this process. We are in front of the railway station again in the 111th month so that this will not be forgotten and erased. We are at the scene of the incident again; as those left behind, this struggle will never end."
