Pelin Yilmaz took part in the Kurdish freedom struggle for many years. It was announced that she lost her life in the Federated Kurdistan Region. In the statement made by PAJK, it was stated that Pelin Yilmaz (Pelin Zozan) lost her life on 27 January 2025 in an attack against the region. "The struggle of our comrade Pelin will grow with the struggle of her comrades and women who stand up for freedom every day," the statement said. 

 

PAJK Coordination stated that Pelin Yılmaz, who previously took part in the KJK Executive Council, has been struggling for 23 years to create a world where women and peoples are free.
