Tartuffe was staged in Ankara


ANKARA- Amed City Theater have taken to the stage 'Tartuffe' written by French writer Moliere in Ankara. Thater players have saluted Leyla Güven who is currently in a hunger strike after the play.

Amed City Theater have staged the play Tartuffe they have translated in Kurdish and premiered in early  September in Ankara.Many people including parliamentarians of People's Democratic Party (HDP) viewed the play staged in Hacı Bektaş Veli Anadolu Culture Association.
After the curtain, the players took stage again and reminded the viewers that Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party Hakkari Parliamentarian Leyla Güven who is protesting the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is in the 42nd day of her hunger strike and saluted her.
