ANKARA- HDP Deputy Chairperson Ayhan Bilge commented on Pastor Brunson’s release, “This is the picture of hostage politics becoming the main approach in both interrior and foreign policy.”
People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Deputy Chairperson Ayhan Bilge evaluated the fact that ,Pastor Brunson who was sentenced to 3 years 1 month and 15 days of jail getting released without judicial controls.
THIS IS UNEXPLAINABLE
Bilgen commented: “This is unexplainable. He was charged with spying, espionage, guilt by association to almost all organisations and then released claiming “Independent Judiciary”. This is the picture of hostage politics becoming the main approach in both interior and foreign policy. President Erdoğan’s messages this week shows that Brunson was considered a hostage, and judicial process was used as a vehicle to mend the relationship with USA.”
