MARDİN- Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-chair Ahmet Türk have told about the meeting he had with CHP President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu : "I did not make an official offer nor I have the authority to do so. I did not visit him on behalf of my party, I just expressed my thoughts in a breakfast.
Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-chair Ahmet Türk have spoke to Mezopotamya Agency (MA) regarding his meeting with Republican People's Party (CHP) President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
'I DIDN'T VISIT HIM ON BEHALF OF THE PARTY'
Turk, who indicated that he did not request to have a meeting, said the meeting was organized by a former CHP Parliamentarian. Türk, who stated that the meeting was just a breakfast chat, said : "There was nothing to discuss. It was a breakfast invitation. We had breakfast. That's all."
'NO ALLIENCE NEEDED AT THE REGION'
Türk who stated that they did not discuss about any alliences for the local elections, said solidarity is needed in the cities like Adana, Mersin, Hatay, Antalya, İstanbul and Ankara.
Türk said: "The truth is, people are miserable because of the government today. That is in front of all of us to see. We have to do something about it. We have to take responsibility. We have been working in this party for 40 years. There was nothing else about the meeting other than that."
