ADANA- HDP's Grand National Assembly of Turkey Human Rights Investigation Commission member Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu said the members of the commission which have turned into a tool of stalling people, must stand trial.
36 Law Decrees (KHK) was declared during the state of emergency that was applied for 2 years and declared on July 15 Coup attempt. 125 thousand 806 people were discharged from public affairs, law enforcement, military, judiciary and academics with those law decrees. Tens of foundations and associations were shut down.
With the claim of releif, 'State of Emergency Process Review Commission' was founded with another law decree in 2017.
People's Democratic Party (HDP) Kocaeli Parliamentarian and Grand National Assembly of Turkey Human Rights Investigation Commission member Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu underlined that the law decree victims are going through a social death.
Gergerlioğlu who stated that 'State of Emergency Process Review Commission' is a tool for stalling people, explained the reason for his words as: "This commission was founded to restrain the people of accesing judiciary. It has been 2 and a half years and these people were not able to find justice. The people who victimized you by dischargin you will judge you again.They will judge you again with their ill intentions. That's what happened. The people who were discharged unlawfully, was evaluated unlaffully again."
