Hundreds of letters to CPT for freedom of Öcalan

NEWS CENTER - Hundreds of letters were sent to the CPT from Scandinavian countries for the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.  
 
The global letter campaign led by the Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E) for the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues. As part of the campaign, hundreds of signed letters collected in the Scandinavian countries of Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland were sent to the Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT).
 
'FULFILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITY'
 
In a joint statement made on behalf of Kurdish women's assemblies, communes and initiatives in these countries, it was emphasized that the isolation is unacceptable. In the statement, it was stated that the struggle for freedom of Abdullah Öcalan will be increased in every field and international institutions, especially the CPT, were called upon to fulfill their responsibilities.
