Middle East Techincal University (METU) students are countinuing their protests against the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and the detention of 200 students during protests against the arrest. The police attacked the protests last night. The police attacked the students who came together in front of the 5th Dormitory and wanted to march to A1 gate with pepper spray, water cannons and rubber bullets. Many students were detained after the police attack. 

 

While it is not known how many students were detained, it is learned that students will continue their protests.
