Prisoner at Burdur High Security Prison, Zeki Bulut (39), suffered a heart attack on 4 November. It was learned that Bulut had suffered a heart attack, underwent an angiogram yesterday at Burdur State Hospital.

 

The family stated that the prison administration had not provided them with any information for two days and that when they called the prison today, they were not allowed to speak to the prison director. The family stated that they had suffered hardship due to the remoteness of the prison and that they would file a criminal complaint against the prison.

 

Bulut was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment and he has been in custody since 2008. It was also noted that Bulut has been held in solitary confinement for eight years.
